I am a communications, PR, and digital marketing professional who loves connecting with people, telling meaningful stories, and creating content that makes an impact. My background includes digital marketing, strategic communication, and audience engagement through my work with the University of Michigan-Dearborn, the SOAR program, and MHAM (Mental Health Association of Michigan), where I have supported initiatives focused on branding, content development, and thoughtful communication. I also have 20+ years of experience in the management and the corporate retail world. As a regional and district trainer at ATI Physical Therapy and for Ascena Brands, I helped to train and develop teams and move them into positive performing stores, while incorporating a laser-focus on metrics, with creative approaches toward sales goals.
I am especially passionate about work that blends creativity with purpose. From shaping digital content and messaging strategies to supporting campaigns and building stronger audience connections, I enjoy finding ways to help organizations communicate clearly, authentically, and effectively. I am drawn to opportunities where relationship-building, collaboration, and storytelling are at the center of the work.
More than anything, I love talking with people, learning what drives them, and helping bring ideas to life through communication. I am someone who values strong connections, thoughtful strategy, and creative problem-solving, and I am always excited by work that allows me to engage with others and make a meaningful contribution. I consider myself a lifelong learner and enjoy being able to connect with everyone - I believe we all have something to learn from every single path we cross.

Texas Historical Commission
I started my career working in destination marketing working for the State of Texas' Heritage Trails Program (I was responsible for tourism marketing efforts in an 18-county area of Central Texas). From there I moved on to work as Interim CEO and Director of Marketing for Visit Shawnee (a small city 45 minutes east of OKC). I then started my own freelance marketing company for 4-5 years before joining the Head & Neck Cancer Alliance in 2022.

With over ten years of professional experince outside of obtaining my undergraduate degree, I have spent about 10 years working in museums, theatres, and nonprofit organizations before making my switch into the study abroad industry, where I have worked over the last 3 years.
I have experience managing entry level staff, managing international projects, organizational operations, and supporting partner relations I recently celebrated concluding one of my largest and most unique projects I've ever managed - a 10 day intensive partner visit from the U.S. to Australia and New Zealand visiting our international partners and working with our clients in person nonstop during this event. With months of planning, and learning the nuances of international business travel it was an amazing growth and networking opportunity in my career.
